Adam and Eve…another version…

Adam and Eve’s
are everywhere
they always were
there was never one couple
do the math
that’s just another made up story
but we continue to use the names
because the story is pretty much
known by everyone
sort of like
Romeo and Juliet
but just imagine
being stuck with each other
because you were the ONLY
two people
on earth
didn’t happen
although anyone with a sibling
would be able to believe
the part about
Cain killing his brother
anyway
today’s Adam and Eve’s
don’t need fig leaves
and we all know snakes
are cool
and do a lot of good things
for the earth
apples never mattered
nor did pears
but then you know pears rot
immediately
therefore apples got the starring role
so we are all Adams
and Eves
we always were
we always will be
as long as this place exists
and the bible
and all the other lies
are being outed
each and every day
because most people
are tired of
all the LIES
and it’s much harder
to hide things
nowadays
which has the priests
pretty upset
talk about false idols
the good thing is
at this time
in our evolution
it’s time to
WAKE UP

Truth…a short story.

Free Broken Door of Abandoned Building Stock Photo

“This can’t be it,” he said, looking at the worn and sad looking entrance.

“It is.”

“Are you sure?”

“You asked me to bring you to the place where Truth lives.  This is that place,” she said.

“But this is…”

“Not what you expected?”

“Yes,” he said, softly.  “It’s not what I expected.”

“What did you expect?” she asked.

“Something in better shape and a lot cleaner.”

She laughed.  “What do those things have to do with Truth?”

“Nothing, I’m sure.  But it is a little off-putting.”

“Then don’t go inside.”

“I have to go in,” he said.  “I have to know.”

“Then you must know that the building is not what’s important. The Truth is what matters.”

“Philosophy, magic and new age ideas aren’t necessarily my strong suits,” he sighed.

“If you are a true seeker of the Truth, you have to empty your mind, so the Truth can get in.”

“Have you been in there?” he asked.

“Of course.  I guide pilgrims to this spot.

“Does everyone see what I’m looking at?”

She smiled at him.  “That’s a very important question, coming from someone who isn’t into philosophy, magic or new age ideas.”

“That’s not an answer.”

“No.  It isn’t.”

“What do you see?” he asked

“Are you ready to go inside?”

“Will you tell me what you see when I come out?”

“No.”

“Why not?”

“It’s mine,” she said, gently.

“Then I’m ready,” he said, taking a deep breath.

“I’ll be here when you’re finished.”

An hour later he came out of the building, and walked straight toward her.  “I didn’t expect that either,” he said.  “Is that different for everyone as well?”

“It is.”

“It was completely empty inside.”

She touched his hand.

“But now, I understand everything,” he said, happily.  “Everything.”

Kids, Life, Particle/Wave, Truth, Trees, Birdhouses

“If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it, will it still make a noise?”

“Yes, because anything that hits anything else makes a noise, whether someone is listening or not.”

“How can we be sure?”

“We can’t be sure of anything, Baby, but chances are that things hitting each other, in our atmosphere, will make a loud noise no matter what. Sound is carried on air. People have heard trees cracking from far away.  I’m guessing the trees didn’t know that people were listening.”

“That makes sense.  We’re studying the particle wave thing.”

“What fun.”

“But if our attention, or focus, changes things, how can we ever know what anything really is?”

“We can’t.”

“So what’s the point of the experiments?”

“Gives scientists something to do and they get grant money and publish articles, which gets more money for the institutions and people they work for.  I guess they eliminate things.”

“So just by looking at something we can change it?”

“That might be the only thing that actually exists.  How can we know? Intent is everything.  We put intent into our machines and tests.  When people set up experiments, they already have ideas as to how things will, or might, turn out.  Basically, they are pre-programming things right from the start.”

“We really don’t know anything do we?”

“We do not.”

“And you’re okay with that?”

“What’s the alternative?”

“So we all pretend  that we know what’s going on when we don’t?”

“Pretty much.”

“You meant it when you said the only truth is personal truth.”

“Can’t be any other way.”

“So Sandra’s right about her father being a moron and her grandmother is right about him being a good son?”

“Yes.  They both believe different things about the same person based on their relationship and experience with him.  Both of their truths are true to them as individuals.”

“Life is a lot harder to figure out than I thought it would be.”

“I know, right?   That’s why you always have to decide things for yourself.”

“The entire class hates Susan’s father.  If they didn’t she would freak out.  We never met him but no one likes him because of what he did to her.”

“That’s called loyalty, or friendship.  People stick up for their friends, no matter what.  Truth doesn’t enter into it.  If we care about someone, there is only one side to an issue.”

“I think we’re going to make birdhouses next week.”

“Just in time for baby birds.”

“That’s what our shop teacher said.”

“Pretty soon you’ll be outside all the time.”

“I’m going out now.  I want to figure out where to put the birdhouse. Do you know where you would like it?”

“Surprise me.”

“Okay.”

“Love you, Baby.”

“Love you too.”
