SHE

War

She walks the battlefields, searching for answers that do not exist.  Stepping over the  bodies of  those gave their lives to war.  She cannot understand why humans continue to kill…everything.  She tries to mediate, but to no avail.  Her’s is a thankless job…whispering words of peace into the ears of those who desire only  wealth, power and war.  And yet, she perseveres, even in the face of hopelessness.  She is dedicated to peace.

SHE

She is a sun Guardian.  She cares for all growing things and follows the sun, as she moves through her never-ending day, always a step ahead of the night. She is gentle and kind, caring for tender shoots and tiny, new leaves.  When necessary, she hides saplings and sprouts  from humans, who would uproot them to use for their own purposes.  She is a daughter of the Great Earth Mother and tends our earthly garden.

Garna

Melanie wanted to know what a Garna looked like.  Garna’s are cat like in every respect, however, when in “war” mode, they look more like small, heavily equipped, armored tanks.  Their back feet are quite long, because when attacking, the Garna holds onto her prey with her front claws and tears the body apart, using her strong  back legs and razor sharp claws.  Her coat can be soft and smooth or hard and knife like.  The spots on her coat will darken as she ages and her stripes will increase.  This Garna is young,  young being relative, since they seem to live forever.  They are almost impossible to kill.  They are vicious in battle but sweet and protective when with those they love.  They have excellent hearing and vision and they can go for days without food.  Their claws turn bright red as they mature and the dots disappear with time.  Once they find a partner to work with, “bonding,” takes place and the Garna will do whatever she must to keep her partner safe.  After the alliance is formed, the two are never apart.  Garna mating occurs once a year and some of the males survive.  If a female Garna chooses to mate she will normally produce one offspring,  The offspring will stay with her for approximately one earth year, after which, the offspring will find a partner and start working.   Garna’s are hunters and Guardians, who normally work with female GUARDIANS, keeping order in the Universe. They are dedicated to protecting any species in trouble..  Garna’s become telepathic, once they are paired with their GUARDIANS.  Garna’s can leap huge distances and have been known to swim for hours at a time, depending on what they are swimming IN, of course.  They are well suited to traveling the Universe and are at ease on any moon, planet or star.  And they will eat just about anything.  Garna’s work only with GUARDIANS who do not travel to earth.   They cannot control their bloodlust when they are on earth because of the massive amounts of violence.  They are far better suited to the outer planets and their satellites, where they can usually tell who the enemy is.  In times of stress they turn a very dark blue and breath fire.  They heal quickly and their saliva can heal their partner, if necessary.  The Garna are loyal, trustworthy, gentle and kind when they are around the right beings.  This Garna is called Seven.

She

She was the ocean and every drop of water in every lake, stream, pond and puddle lived inside of her.   Her very heart, beat in time to the movement of the waves.  The tide rocked her to sleep at night and woke her in the morning.  She did her best to protect the life forms who made their homes in the oceans and lakes, but it was becoming more and more difficult.  Humans were poisoning the waters, using them as a dumping place for their garbage and waste, hunting living beings in their own homes. She was furious and her control was slipping.  She had already taken quite a few ships, mainly whale killers, but others as well.   The water beings had nowhere to go and the humans simply would not stop.  She had to do something and she had to do it  soon, before the oceans died.  Her despair and rage pushed her forward but once her ideas formed into a plan, she smiled, her fists opened, and  she gathering her courage around her like a suit of armor, and dove into the murky depths.

Quick drawing

She

She ran through the forest, her feet, barely touching the ground.  Her spiritual wings fluttered gracefully behind her, as she jumped over downed branches and large moss covered rocks.  She felt the wind pacing her, pushing against her side.  The birds sang greetings as she passed.  Small animals appeared, drawn by her speed and the love that poured from her heart.  She laughed and slowed to a walk, hands on hips. Pulling a small bag of corn, seed and bread, from a pouch she wore around her waist, she sat on the ground and leaned against an ancient tree.  She smiled and whispered words of gratitude to the tree and felt a peaceful response of welcome flow through her.  The animals came forward and she fed them, petting those who reached for her.  Pushing her black hair out of her eyes, she inhaled deeply, taking in the earthy scent of the woods.  Then she drew magical symbols in the dirt with her finger, symbols of protection, symbols that would make the forest invisible, so that humans would never find it and destroy paradise, once and for all.  She took her knife and sliced into her palm, allowing three drops of blood to fall onto her finished work.  She felt the spell snap into place.  Saying her farewells, she simply faded away, leaving only the perfect beauty of nature behind.

Wild Child

She didn’t care if people understood her.  She didn’t care what anyone thought.  She followed her heart and lived her life her own way.  She was fearless.  She never looked back.  She was excited about life and grabbed it with both hands. She never held back but gave herself to each moment.  She lived without regret.   She loved, she laughed, she cried and through it all…she never missed an opportunity to dance.

girl

Girl with words in her head and her heart on her sleeve.  Poet and dreamer, she lived in her imagination and knew where fairies spent their time.  The real world often left something to be desired, since there were no unicorns or sprites, and the trees kept silent when others were around, but she managed well enough.  She kept chickens and cats, who got along surprisingly well.  People thought she was a bit out of touch, every now and then, but they were wrong…she was MORE in touch, just with things they refused to see.  She led an interesting life and enjoyed the birds who nested on her windowsill.
