Gangs are a complex subculture
that cannot be understood
by those
who haven’t
been in one
or been exposed
to certain lifestyles
that’s true for all subcultures
including religious sects/gangs
both have uniforms
belief systems
rules
rituals
colors
symbols
secrets
leaders
punishments
and rewards
cohesiveness
doctrine
a sense of belonging
imitations
hand gestures
and so many other things
it’s just that street gangs
are considered outlaws
and religious gangs get tax breaks
and amass huge fortunes
while protecting rapist priests
street gangs promise to take care of you
while you’re alive
religious gangs promise to take care of you
when you’re dead and you can’t sue them for
making stuff up
the biggest difference between the two
however
is that street gangs
don’t lie and about what they are
religious gang do
