This exhibit was is what art is all about…telling people the truth.

So, the art exhibits at the Chicago Cultural Center (Old Public Library) were called NATIONAL VETERANS ART MUSEUM TRIENNIAL: ON WAR & SURVIVAL

This is the dome in the Old Chicago Public Library which is actually now called THE CHICAGO CULTURAL CENTER.

It’s gorgeous and fortunately for us, the sun was out.Note the zodiac around the center.

The art in this show was so powerful, in person, that it took my breath away. No barrier, I was right on top of the thick watercolor paper. I could FEEL the ink. I stood in awe at the talent and the work. It’s showing at the Old Chicago Public Library. (2 pictures)
