What’s happening with the military?

Is the war over?  Are they still fighting?  Are military people getting the virus?  Are they “isolating?”  Why don’t we hear anything about what’s going on with them?

    These are questions I’ve been asking myself. I was in the Marine Corps and social distancing is not generally a possibility when it comes to the troops. Tanks, Ships, Submarines and Barracks are usually close quarters. I’m sure precautions are being taken but those questions may not get answered because of National and World Security. At least we have better medicine, better communication and lack of ignorance (ok, most of the population) to deal with not spreading this disease. Unlike other wars, technology should alleviate the amount of deaths associated with this, but that remains to be seen, doesn’t it? Pray that our troops are safe and the spread of this terrible virus doesn’t filtrate within the military families and beyond.

      I can’t imagine how close they are forced to be. And there is no cure, they can only attack secondary infections with antibiotics. Beth also brought up refugee camps. People crowded together and it only takes one to start it. I hope they are doing something about that.

    an interesting question. i’ve also been wondering about all of the refugees and people in our ‘border prison camps.’ is anyone looking out for them?

      Excellent point. How can we know? The people in charge LIE. All of these groups, including the military need to take the proper precautions and I don’t know how they can.
