admittedly
I’m not crazy about
all insects
I’m not afraid of them
unless they surprise me
in a weird way
and it depends on
who they are
and what they look like
but I like most of them
and don’t mind if they
crawl on me for awhile
or sit on my arm and rest
but they are all beautiful
there’s no getting
around it
their colors
are straight
from Mother Nature’s
special cabinet
where she keeps
the bluest blues
and the reddest reds
the best golds
and greens
and using those colors
she paints the
ladybugs
beetles
bees
and all the rest
of the insects
because they are tiny
she gives them
extra beauty
to make them
standout

Bugs Are Truly Spectacular And Here Are 40 Pics To Prove That

Argggggg…

Mosquito Schnake Riesenschnake Insect Fore

Well, we just got a mailing, for our area, that the reason no one wants to go outside, is because we have DOUBLE (they capped it) the number of these blood suckers, who simply swarm us and never stop biting.  If you aren’t completely covered, they find a way to get you, and yes,  they bite through clothing.  It’s a nightmare out there.  And, the locust are SO LOUD, you have to play music to drowned the out.   LOL  It’s like the insects have finally decided to take over.  The other night, when I went out to feed Emily, I put on a jacket (in 90 degrees) with the neck secured tightly, I put socks on and they bit my hands and face.  Really, nowhere to hide.

Supposedly they are going to fog everything, but it’s almost christmas, according to what’s in stores.  Yesterday, christmas music was playing.  I truly believe that by the end of the month, summer things will be filling the shelves, FOR NEXT YEAR.  Christmas music?  Really?  Gotta get a jump on the competition, I guess.   They may as well just have all four seasons out all year long, and not bother putting anything away.  Trees and ornaments and it’s July.  Insanity.  Ruins the holiday.  No anticipation. The excitement gone.  People are so bored by christmas, that they don’t even care any longer.
