my daughter and I
went to a pie place
a small building
in a regular neighborhood
right next to an alley
they were known for their
pie
when we got there
they didn’t have any pie
none at all
we asked how a pie shop
could not have pie
the woman said she didn’t know
but there was no pie
I think that’s the story of life
we are led to believe that there is
this or that
but there is no this or that
there’s only
whatever

It was. We just stood there, looking at empty shelves and cases. No pie in the pie store. LOL
I’ll bet the explanation for the lack of pie would be equally strange.

IKR? Not a single piece of pie. I guess they were open to tell people there was no pie. LOL So silly. We couldn’t believe it.

It certainly is. LOL And it wasn’t because they sold out. They never hand any pies. The woman thought maybe the fruit wasn’t delivered, “or something.”
That is too funny. It’s probably become their thing… come for the pie… but we’ll offer something else coz there ain’t no pie!

So silly. Never went back there either. It was an out of the way place and we never felt like going there again.
