Portal…

portals
are everywhere
places where time and space
have a mind of their own
where aliens
can travel great distances
in no time at all
where people
ships
and
planes
simply disappear
we live in a universe
we don’t understand
one that doesn’t play
by our rules
a universe
that snickers
at physicists
and thinks
Black Holes
are merely
doorways
to other places
places from which
we cannot return
ever
assuming
one can live
through the trip
