Ganesh…remover of obstacles.

a statue of a man riding on the back of an elephant

Ganesh
is the remover
of obstacles
he imparts
wisdom
and
understanding
he is the child
of Shiva
the God of
Destruction
while Parvathi
his mom
is the Goddess
of love and devotion
fertility
happiness
creativity
and power
the good news is
that at times
she can be
vicious
it’s funny
how we never see
any Gods
who represent
love and devotion
nope
not a single one
as for looking
like an elephant
his father
asked Brahma
who was on earth
to bring him the head
of the first animal he saw
so Brahma killed an elephant
and brought the head to
Shiva and the rest
is just another myth
the only one
who died
in this story
was an innocent
elephant
who was just
minding his own
business
