  1. Awww. My daughter came home with a barn kitten one time. My husband said there was no way she was keeping a feral cat in our little house (with our dog and blind kitten). She ended up staying with us for a couple of years – with Sammy, the sweetest little cat ever. He was such a sweetie!

    • What a wonderful story. Barn cats are fabulous and Im so happy you had one in your life. Feral cats can be sweet and gentle, once they overcome their fear and get to know you. Thank you so much for sharing this. 🙂

      • That was the biggest thing with Sammy – he was so shy. He didn’t want to come out of his cage at first. Then he came out but he would peak around the corner into the kitchen to watch me feed Suzy (our cat) her wet food. Sammy was just getting hand fed dry kibble. Every day he got closer until I could put down a little bowl for him. It took a while but one morning he was waiting at the counter for me – doing what became his signature morning Sammy dance because he was so anxious and excited to get his bowl of food. 💞

      • I love that. It’s so sweet. Thank you so much.

  2. So wonderful!
