Comments on: "WP will not let me reblog any longer. No idea why. But please go to Resa’s blog and see the truly wonderful post she made for the chicklets and their Easter party. I’m so grateful to her, as well as to Holly, for this wonderful scrapbook. I can never thank them enough. <3" (33)
Since you are using an old theme, you may want to switch a newer one. Just saying.
That could be it! When I click the 3 dots in the lower right (beside the following icon) The name of the theme does not come up. That means it is now an unsupported by WP theme.
I had to change my theme a few years ago.
What is a theme? I don’t get it.
What do you mean?
When you started your blog, you chose what it would look like. You chose a theme for its layout.
WordPress is starting to get on my last nerve!!
Ah, okay. Thank you and I agree, they are driving me crazy.
They don’t give a rat’s ass about their users…
That certainly seems to be the case. They just make things more and more difficult and because of that, I think more and more people will stop blogging.
It does.
I know quite a few who will stop.
Or go blog elsewhere. It just blows to lose a community should that option be chosen
I guess they don’t care. It seems as if they don’t want the really good thing they have, but would rather destroy it.
I can’t understand why they can’t just keep the classic for those of us who prefer it and still offer the shiny and new that some people go for!
In order to do that they would have to care about what we wanted. But another blogger talked to one of them and they said Classic Editor would be around for awhile, so not to worry. If they KNOW we want it, why would they ever take it away?
True. And honestly, why would they remove this option. How the hell would it hurt them?
I think they’re bored and have to do something in order to keep their job. If things are going perfectly, what is there for them to do?
I know. That’s what I’ve been saying! They are creating their own job security.
I think that’s true.
like right now you have the old theme that just has the header at the top with the music paper with paint droplets on it
I get that. Okay. Will wait for your call. Thank you.
Ah, I see others have pointed it out!
It can be fun changing the theme. Pondering Mind changes themes regularly.
Melanie is going to tell me how to do it. So thank you so very much. ❤ I had absolutely no idea that was a thing or ever had to be changed.
You’re welcome my friend. I hope you find a theme you like and feel comfortable with.
I’m sure I will. Thank you. 🙂
You’re welcome…
Thank you, Gi! It was a fabulous celebration!!!!
You did such a fantastic job. I just love it. I can’t thank you enough. It’s a wonderful celebration and Holly’s poem is fabulous. Much love and gratitude.
When you are on your dashboard…look at the column on the left….scroll down til you see appearance then the first choice is themes.. you can look at all or just “free themes”
You DEFINITELY need to talk me through it tomorrow. LOLOLOL DEFINITELY.
I always use a free theme!
Do you remember we used to get free snow over the Christmas Holiday. Now, it’s a pay for plug in!
Yes! Now, everything is “extra,” everywhere. It’s insane.
Love the scrapbook!
Thank you so much. Resa is wonderful. It’s a wonderful gift and I appreciate it so much. 🙂
Yes, she is:)
🙂
