SO COOL!!! A great statue too – I don’t care for everything Picasso did in his incredible life but this I dig totally. I also have a largeish number of cards and 2 sweet pictures I bought in England. Am longing to bring them over from France so that I can hang them up again next to our beds

    • I’m not a fan. Everyone hated the statue, when it was first put up, now everyone is used to it and no one cares. LOLOL We all think it’s a woman, since he hated them so much.

You can’t hate a statue, that’s a far too strong statement. I also don’t get used to the dislogged eyes in his ‘women’ etc but that’s exactly what I mean: He was so multi-facetted that you can and will find something you like…. I went for some of his early paintings and let everybody keep his more unrecognisable stuff. Each to their own!

      • People didn’t like the Eiffel Tower either. Chicago didn’t like it. They thought it was ugly. It’s okay. Everyone got used to it. No big deal. 🙂

We are conditioned to accept things esp. as we can’t change them. Maybe luckily so.

  2. Mmmm I think we can change a lot more things than we think but we have been conditioned to believer change is not possible and that’s not true.
