I’d like to thank the
people who deliver our mail
for coming to our doors
everyday
as well as those
who work in the mail service
sorting and packing
when so many of us are off
and snug inside
and thanks to those
who stock the shelves
and work the registers
and to all drivers and
those who load the trucks
so that we have food
and whatever we need
to stay healthy
while we are off
and snug in our homes
and to all the pharmacists
who take such good care of us
having our medication ready
so that we can heal
and be well
while we are home
snug in our homes
we all owe you so very much
Heroes each and every day
So very true.
so true, the heroes are all around us…
Yes, they are. So many of them are invisible but without them we would be in terrible trouble.
Yes we do owe them so much. The best heroes are everyday heroes. Thank you all.
That’s so very true. Everyday heroes.
Very true, we should all be thankful!
I can’t imagine what we we would do without them.
AMEN to all of this. And yes, I DO send out lots of mail, print-outs for my near blind mum, cards with photos I take, letters and messages of fun, joy, love, encouragement, – because right now it’s even more important to send out signs of love, ‘I’m thinking of you’ and affection.
So very true. Real letters matter.
Hats off to the soldiers in the trenches. They are us and together, we will win.
Definitely. Truckers, packers, factory workers, all of them. We need every single one. And speaking of soldiers. We still don’t know what’s happening with them. Security reasons, right?
So true!
What would we ever do without them?
Right on! I agree 100%.
THANK YOU!!!!
Your post today was fabulous. Thanking all the people with art. Beautiful.
Thank you! This is a crazy time!
Most definitely. We are living in science fiction.
…. a Stephen King novel… He wrote a novel in the 70’s based on a pandemic. The Stand – 1978
I never read any of his books. Just couldn’t get into them at all. But I remember The Stand being a million pages long.
