Comments on: "This is one of the most important independent films I’ve seen. I am a Chicagoan. This is for the whole country and is of utmost importance. Please watch it. Thank you." (14)
The link in your post works 🙂
The link in your post works but I couldn’t get their page links to work to watch the movie. I hadn’t heard about this either. Maybe it’s on YouTube…
it was a bit tricky… had to click a few different places. Try this link. I’m watching it now.

Ok txx!! 👍
THANK YOU. YAY!
[…] you Rethinking Life for sharing […]
I am horrified. You would think we would get used to being lied to, having the TRUTH withheld from us, us but I LIVE HERE and 90% of this was blacked out. Until today I did not know about mass graves, refrigerator cars, or the number of people dead. None of that was told. I’m outraged by the comments made by the people in the film and absolutely furious that NOTHING HAS CHANGED. Now, people in poor neighborhoods have to deal with the OBAMA memorial and they will be displaced when prices go up. It NEVER ENDS.
so inhumane and unfair. thank you for sharing this
I was talking, okay, I was YELLING into the phone, when I was talking to Melanie, who was trying to help me get the link on my post. Until today, I never knew about any of this. I knew some people died, but nothing like what was actually happening. The TRUTH and HORROR was withheld from the public. Honestly, Beth. I don’t think anything has even changed. How can we all allow this to continue? What can we DO to make it stop?
it is awful, a disgrace
The horror is that knowing what we know, nothing changes.
Exactly
Ok ,so AARRRRRGGGGHHHH! I just wrote and then deleted a couple paragraphs… so condensed comment :
I watched it, had to keep pausing it because I kept getting outraged.
It is an important film, terrible to watch because it is true.
AND you are right this isn’t a Chicago issue…this is an example of what happens everywhere.
THAT’S the truth of it. It’s EVERYWHERE and needs to be stopped! I’m so glad you watched it. Thank you and thank you for listening to me yell, on the phone. OMG! How could it happen right under my nose and be kept a secret? Horrifying. You’re right to be outraged. We should ALL BE OUTRAGED.
