There is no trust more sacred than the one the world holds with children. There is no duty more important than ensuring that their rights are respected, that their welfare is protected, that their lives are free from fear and want and that they can grow up in peace. – Kofi Annan For the past […]

I agree. I also like Mc Curry’s work. (Moving to his blog right now)
He’s amazing.
And expensive. I saw one his photos on sale in a Paris Gallery once. 8,000 Euros. About 10,000 US$. Oops.
WOW! I never would have guessed that. Well, he’s doing what he loves and it’s paying off, that’s for sure. So, good for him.
True. He is a great photographer and can live of his art. Not an easy task.
Pretty much an impossible task for most artists. Glad someone is doing it. 🙂
Reblogged this on House of Heart.
Oh, thank you. It’s such an important issue. He’s an incredible photographer.
I watched a 16 year old boy die in Ice custody this past week Carlos Gregorio Hernandez Vasquez, He had the flu and sleeping on a concrete floor, his only company another sick boy they had put in the quarantine cage. No one came until the other boy finally got the attention of a guard but the boy was dead. He died of neglect all alone with no medical care. A shameful era in America, history will not be kind.
Horrifying. And they don’t even deny it. Children allowed to die in prisoned by our country. Horrifying beyond belief.
