The turkey play rehearsal went very well…

The chicklets made the costumes.  They added the words so the baby chicklets would be able to keep up.  Everyone is looking forward to the play and the Poetry Slam.  The hens are making turkey shaped cookies but they’re freezing and hiding them, until the party.  It’s a sad time for birds, but they will do their best to honor their fallen friends with love and kindness.

A beautiful and thoughtful event to come

    • Definitely. Everyone is getting things ready and the rhino’s said they were glad they stayed. They said they were staying until after Chickmas and Roland said if you need him before that to let him know and he’ll come home. He sends his love and is busy helping the stage crew. They said he’s really good at dragging things around. 🙂 The chicklets are hoping that you will read turkey stories to the babies and those in the hospital when you come for the party.

  2. It’s that time of year again, somber but a celebration of life. I’m making tofu soup and bringing hot cocoa. Chirp.

  4. I am sorry for all the bird suffering. Perhaps one of the chicks could enter the next presidential race and speak the bird side. Love these chicks and their turkey cousins.😕

We had our turkey slaughter fest last month.
I /we/many of us have so much to be thankful for, that it seems killing a bird, or any creature is hypocritical.
Man, I’m so lucky and fortunate….. think I’ll go kill something and eat it?????

    • Grateful for death and terror. That’s what it’s all about. This is a DEATH place. People talk about golden rules and do unto others or kindness and compassion but they hate everyone and everything and don’t care who dies. They call that being grateful.
