A poem from Resa…in response to the slaughter of chickens

Resa says:

I’m so sick of the killing!!!!!!!!

SLAUGHTER TIME

Here little chicken
Here little lamb
Call in the pigs
They make a good ham.

What a cute goat
Such a sweet cow
Well who gives a shit?
Slaughter them now!

Let’s kill in the oceans
Perhaps baby seal,
They make a good coat
And gourmet meal.

Swim fast pretty Salmon
You are, for sure fish.
You and your families
make a great dish.

I love the poem. I have spent all day today following, playing, petting and photographing wild burros in Death Valley National Park, until they started following me! The park has draconian policies to drive out and remove these amazing intelligent and affectionate creatures. I am angry today, so right on Resa & thank you my good friend for supporting her.

    • I don’t understand the cruel hearts that people have. The burros are wonderful, as are the buffalo in Yellowstone. There’s a group of people living there, on the donations of others,to protect the buffalo. I don’t even know how to think about the heartlessness of those who harm animals.

I did the same thing, petted them and even fed the burros and they followed me and I could barely make it into my car. They were friendly and very gentle. 🙂 More and more kept coming until there were about thirty of them surrounding me. Then it started to be too much. And I only had a bit of bread left. 🙂
