A squirrel is a squirrel…a poem

Squirrel, Young Animal, Small, Young

a squirrel
by any other name
would still be twitchy
and frisky
running
then leaping
from branch
to branch
because
that’s pretty much the
definition
of a
squirrel
unless you count
her soft fur
cute little ears
tiny clawed feet
big beautiful eyes
and long fluffy tail
so
no matter how you look at it
a squirrel
even thought often destructive
is absolutely adorable

  1. Resa says:

    Adore squirrels!

  2. It cost $6,000.00 to get them out of the attic and walls. The ice, during the winter, tore the gutter away from the roof and they got in. It was a nightmare. No squirrels were harmed.
