but the escape route
what if death is the best thing
that could ever happen to us
what if we’ve been taught
to fear or dread
death
when we should actually
be celebrating
and throwing parties
when it’s near
or when it happens
what if
when we get to the other side
if there IS an “other side”
and wonder why we stayed here
as long as we did
I’m hoping that’s true
so all the beings I loved so much
are having a great time
dancing
and eating chocolate cake
while I’m still here
serving time

I can’t thank you enough for those kind words. Really. You just made my day. There is a book 2 and I was finished with the third, and final book, but it disappeared from my computer. Just found some new… old fabric today. Recently, I found a 25 year old red velvet 3/4 length coat to repurpose. I’m itching to get started!
