About John Wick 4…

Word is that if Parabellum is a success, money wise, there will be a fourth film. The producer and Keanu Reeves already said they would do it, if  number 3 does well.

All 3 of the John Wick films had all of the ingredients of very bad films: little story, endless violence etc but somehow they pull it off each time. For me, the third film was like a ballet (and it is probably no accident that a ballet takes place near the start of the film) – it has incredible choreography and it just seems to work for all the wrong reasons 😂

    • Hahahahaha so true. And I agree completely. I think the first was the best but I wouldn’t miss one of them. I hope there’s a fourth one. With that ending, I don’t see how there can’t be. You know he wasn’t shot to die. He shot him at the end to let him escape and keep the hotel at the same time. They are friends and he saved his life. But again…ballet that works and better the underdog than someone in a tutu. 🙂 I mean, really, who doesn’t want the bad guys to get “what’s coming to them,” right. 🙂 You don’t kill a dog and walk away. That’s how it all started. Reeves is so perfect for the role.

It would be very strange if there wasn’t a 4th – I also think it is the cinematography that makes the films work so well – they are shot with a lot of care and look beautiful (even when people are being stabbed in the eye etc!!)

  2. OMG that’s so funny…HAHAHAHA “…even when people are being stabbed in the eye…” I love it, and, of course, you are absolutely right. The cinematography is fabulous and the movies have a strong emotional feeling about them because of it. Everything works and all of the violence seems necessary and everyone loves his dog. Hahaha Really…you said it all and I don’t see how there won’t be a fourth either. They said as long as people go to see them, they’ll keep making them. Vote by buying a ticket. 🙂 I love the hotel and the way the concierge takes care of the dog. It’s so fabulous. When the dog jumped on his lap and kept licking him, it was so much fun but then I got stressed because he left the dog alone in the room with the bad guy. Arggggg! 🙂 I’m so glad you like the films as much as I do. Thank you so much for all this fabulous chatter.
