Once again, this is Emily. Her house is in the second picture. It’s off the ground and covered by three heavy-duty gigantic tarps. There are cushions around her house, so her paws don’t get cold from the cement. There are two chairs holding up the tarps so she has room to play and walk around. In the winter she has electric beds. She loves her nest and has room service in bad weather.

  1. Oh my gosh, she is so adorable! A nice house too, I’m jealous!

Lovely. I love cats. And this one looks quite mellow.

  3. What a great house for Emily….so cute!

    • Thank you. I’ve tried others and she didn’t like them. She loved this one and it only took her a few hours before she moved in. 🙂 Yay!!! Meanwhile, the other houses are scattered here and there for visitors. Hahaha

I love her!!!! Unfortunately, Johnny could never move in with her. He’s the size of Em’s house! He’s a big beautiful boy, with lots and lots of fur, who is crying for food, again!

    • Hahahahahahahahaha he’s a cry baby, like his namesake, right? I didn’t know he was that large. He could probably squeeze in but with all the fur…:) You are so funny Resa. Feed the baby.

      • Resa says:

Yes.., a cry baby…Hmmm, yes,, Johnny Depp did make a movie Cry Baby.
Oh! For crying out loud! He just finished off his crunchies. He’ll cry in the outer hallway during the night, where it echos loudly. Cry, nap, cry nap ad infinitum!
When he was a kitten in the nest, his head was twice the size of the other kittens. I called him the baby big head. He grew to fit that head!

      • OMG, you called your kitten names. I can’t believe it. I’m cracking up. He’s a gentle giant and a hungry one at that. Em said she loves him but she’s not into care taking. She’s quite independent and thinks maybe he’s better off with Jeep and with you. Still, she’s willing to correspond. Hahahahaha.

      • Resa says:

Yeah, Johnny is not independent. Jeep still mothers him. They also fight, lunging at eyes and throats. Funny how they can be all loving and caring and then the next minute it’s no holds barred!
Okay, a long distance romance it is then! Johnny says he will love Em furever! 😀 😀

      • I can’t believe they fight!!! I guess that’s part of life for everyone. She’s probably thinking, “Isn’t he supposed to grow up and get a job? Be independent and have kittens of his own? I didn’t think this was a lifetime thing.” Poor Jeep. Em feels the same way and sends him purrs.

Isn’t it enjoyable to care for those we love.

    • I look forward to seeing her each morning and petting her and whispering how much I love her into her ears. 🙂 I think she’s my cat Pasa, returned. I even called her Pasa when I was talking to my daughter who said, Yup, he came back to you in Emmie’s body. Pasa was such a huge part of me. I pulled into a shelter’s parking lot and a woman had him in her trunk. I paid her $10 and that’s what the love of my life cost me. He was priceless and I got him for $10. I miss him every single day and it has been so many years since he slept on my pillow. I have all my cats and dogs in my heart, where I keep them safe and warm until I can find them again. ❤ I'm grateful they allowed me to care for them because I definitely got the best end of those relationships.:)
