Tommy volunteered to read a poem from Johnny, Resa’s cat. He has a thing for Emily, my cat, and sent the poem to the chicklets. Cleo, Tommy’s sister just wanted to be on stage to see what it was like and the bird enjoyed sitting on the microphone.

Johnny wrote a poem for Emily, while listening to Für Elise

Für Emily

Me me me me me meow meow meow
Some shed tears
Of joy
Meeeeeeeeeee ow
Some shed tears
Of Sorrow
Mewewewewew
’Tis but
A piano’s note
Compared to
The Fur
I shed for you.
Me me me me me meow meow
Meow!

Johnny is a special, very fuzzy cat.  He and Emily correspond through Resa and me, since the cats can’t buy stamps.  She loved his poem.

  3. This is an amazing presentation .snap snap!

  4. Hahahaha…she’s nice to him because Resa keeps telling us how SPECIAL he is. (a scardy cat). Em isn’t the bravest cat in the world but she’s surviving outside and that says a lot for her. She’s been with me for over 5 years. So, she’s protected when she’s here. I don’t know what she does when she leaves my nation, inside the fence.

  5. Resa says:

Okay… Johnny has gone back to his closet. He’s afraid the poem went over too, well.

  6. Don’t you love painting that way. So much more control and it’s fun too.

Cats can’t buy stamps but they can lick’em and put them on the envelope.
