I’m a fan of the movie, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER.  He was great in the film.  He was 52 years old and he will be missed by many.

  1. And a nice guy too by what I’ve heard in the news. Too young.

So young. 😦 I remember that series was one of our daughters’ favourite back in the days.
    Rest in peace.

    • He was in the movie, not the series but both were a lot of fun and I watched it as well. Sorry to see him go.

Yep. Not right when the younguns go first.

      • I know. Our son and all three of our nephews died. I know about early deaths. There are more, actually, but these were the closest. All the boys died of drugs. Our son, leukemia. Husband, leukemia. Nightmares everywhere, if I look. So i don’t look.

I am very sorry for your losses. We lost one son-in-law two years ago. Daughter #2 has not recovered yet. I’m not sure I ever will. All I can do is fight to help my daughter in every way I can. And yes. Try not to look. And be brave. Easier said than done. All one can say is: “I understand”.

      • It’s a nightmare that comes back now and then. What amazes me is that we keep living through all of it. How people get through war, surrounded by death, of strangers and the people they love, is just amazing. Our brains just shoot the right hormones to us so that we don’t all just drop over, I guess. We are changed forever. Walking out of the hospitals for the last time, leaving them there. Horrific. I’m so sorry for your daughter.

Thank you for your kind thoughts. She is “re-building” and I spend most of my time helping on that. With ups and downs. I even packed the entire family to join her in Asia on December 2017 So she wouldn’t be alone there. She’d gone to Asia to… find peace. And yes, we all have to be strong, no matter what. But the memories come back at the most unexpected occasion. I hope you are “all right”. As much as can one be. Be good Gigi.
        Your “E-Friend”,
        Brian

      • Thank you Brian and everyone handles death in their own way. She’s fortunate to have such a wonderful family. I hope she is managing well. It’s not easy.

      • I haven’t seen any today, so maybe they’re working on it. Fingers crossed. Loved your garage doors. So beautiful.

It’s not. As you know. Then there are anniversaries coming…
One day at a time. 🙂
        Take good care of yourself.

      • I do. Thank you. I hope your daughter does, as well.

We all will. One day. 🙂
