What if…

Question Mark Note Duplicate Request Matte

What if we’re all dead.  Seriously, we can’t prove that we aren’t, except by our own made up definition of what death is.  We have no idea what death is, remember.  So, here’s the thing:  what if we are dead and when we leave here…we’re actually BORN into an actual ‘life,’ or whatever it is?  There is no possible way to know if what happens to us when we exit, isn’t a million times better than what’s happening here.  With all the violence, brutality, destruction and hatred, how can we possibly believe that THIS is the best thing going?  We can’t.  No one can.

What we consider to be life, could simply be a ‘Waiting Room,’ where we stay, until we can finally get to where we want to go.  These are valid thoughts.  Just because they aren’t mainstream doesn’t mean they don’t matter.  We have no idea what’s going on, so this is just one more way to think about what we call life and death.

Perhaps, when someone we love dies, we should be having a huge party, because that person is free and on the way to something wonderful.  Instead of mourning, we should be celebrating that person’s release from the ‘waiting room.’

I think we need to rethink everything.  We are far too accepting of ideas that other people hand to us.  We have been brainwashed and manipulated into believing that someone actually knows what’s going on when they have absolutely no clue, just like the rest of us. We need to ask more questions.  A lot more questions.  We have to stop believing the misinformation, lies and insanity that we have been force fed from the beginning.

We do NOT know what happening, we have simply agreed to act as if we do.  If we start admitting that we don’t know anything…I think there might be a chance that we can look at everything in new ways, rather than be blinded by ‘the way things have always been.’  That’s the way it’s always been done, is real death…death of intellect, spirit and wonder.  Blind acceptance, IS a form of what we call death.  So turn things upside down and shake them.  See what you come up with.  Don’t throw out ideas just because the aren’t familiar, or because they don’t fit neatly into the status quo.  The status quo and the way things have always been done are prisons.  Look at everything…then revise, edit, and begin again.  Hey, I’m just sayin’.

  1. You ask some very good questions and offer some solid musings. Your ideas in that first paragraph aren’t really all that much different from traditional religious belief except for the word used for our state-of-being.

This is exactly what the ancients thought about being here in this life. It’s a death of the spirit to be placed into matter. It was considered a second death if you didn’t wake up to the soul or spirit being eternal. Hence we have the walking dead or zombies. Dying in this life was considered a rebirth. It was celebrated because one was free from the limitations of matter.

I think we all know what death is. We all have felt it, before we were born we were dead. Nothing no existence, no feelings, no time. Just nothing.
