A very short story about life…

“In the scheme of life, we don’t know where we’ve been, or where we’re going,” he said.

“So what?” she asked, shoving more popcorn into her mouth. “Why do you care?  I mean, look at it logically.  You were someplace before and now you’re here.  There’s no way you could have known this is where you would have ended up, back when you were someplace else.  We don’t know where we will end up in the future, because it’s impossible to know, so just give it up and be here now.  Want some popcorn?”
