A reporter asked an elderly man to tell him about his first kiss and his last kiss to which he replied ‘my first kiss was beyond explanation and I hope I haven’t had my last kiss yet”.

Hmm, barely, but I think I was 10 or 11 and we played spin the bottle.

    • I love that. LOL It’s like that sometimes, right? Spin the bottle. A patrol boy kiss me while I was waiting to cross the street and I knocked him flat on his back and told him not to come near me again. He didn’t. He just touched his lips to mine and I was shocked. OMG A thousand years ago, at least. I was in grade school so probably the same age you were.

Grade school kiss! LOL! Hey, I was a Patrol in Grade 6, 11 years old. I was not easy on the boys. I had to win my patrol spot with grades. I beat every boy out, hands down. I had the highest grades in the class, and the school HAD to let e be a Patrol. 😀
They rued me! Then I demanded my right to hold the flag at assembly. The first girl todo so at my school!

    OH, fab art!!!!

    • I’m so proud of you. Really…all the “firsts.” How wonderful and what a role model and glass ceiling breaker. I was a patrol girl but didn’t have to do much to be one. Boys weren’t the only ones who could do it. You had to fight your way to be a patrol girl and flag carrier. Way to go! I LOVE to hear your excellent stories. ❤

  4. LOL I didn’t carry the flag. Our belts were white and we had to scrub them all the time and keep them really clean. I think what you did was wonderful. But that’s who you are.
