Art and the philosophy of life

An almost 5 minute dance…the robot takes over a bit at the end…and for many of us, it’s hard to remember that the robot is a machine. I think everything has intelligence…I can write a story about how the robot longs to dance and looks forward to the dancer returning, to make life more beautiful…but maybe that’s just me.

      I agree. So beautiful. I think the robot loved it and really, you know it dreams of dancing. I bet it works out steps in its being, seeing the moves and waiting for the music to start. 🙂

    I totally grok it. I too assign personality to inanimate things. As a child I could not rest for the night if I did not make sure that all my dolls and animals were snuggly tucked in. I didn’t want them to be cold.

      I was/am the same way. Magical thinking. We lived on the first floor of a two-flat and my mom left my bedroom window open so we could breath (no air-conditioning. It was kind of scary but I knew that if anyone tried to get in, my stuffed dogs would bite them and make them go away. LOLOL I believed it and slept well because of it. I think everything has consciousness in some form or other. I don’t care if other people don’t believe it. It’s true to me. I treat everything as if they do, so I’m polite and respectful to things and I don’t take anything for granted. 🙂 The letter I wrote is still on the table waiting to be mailed. Will do it tomorrow. It’s been pouring for days and I haven’t gone out.

        I too treat everything as a part of me and with respect. Peace and love flow out of this regard. I could not bring myself to throw litter to the ground…….like spitting on Mother. We are having 90 degree heat so I am hunkered down until the temperatures cool. I am slowly working on a larger raven spirit painting. Just takes forever but no matter……I’m working if even with baby steps. May your day be sweet and dry.💋

    I can only imagine how stunning the picture will be. You are so talented and infused with the beauty of spirit animals. It shows in your work. They give themselves to you to pass along their messages. As always, we do what we can, when we can. Eventually things get finished. I have the outdoor water dish ready to plug in. Temps will be close to freezing at night. It’s after one in the after noon right now and it’s 48 degrees, so we are headed toward colder weather. The sun was out for most of the day but now it’s hiding behind clouds. Have a lovely day. ❤
