Oh my goodness, Gigi! This got me giggling while still a touch sad, too. I have been married a few times, each time believing what was said in courtship was truly meant. Sometimes I “played” the mother, another I was the docile person who let someone take charge (but eventually any joy we may have had dissipated) and the best times have been with my children and one funny man. I wasn’t his “other half” and I won’t settle for a 1/3 or 1/4 of happiness. . .

Her blog is often very, very funny. I did find my soulmate at 14…we were incredibly happy until the day he died. I miss him every second. We were together a long time and there was never anyone else for either of us. I hope you are happy. 🙂 Thank you so much for writing.
