“It has been shown as proof positive that carefully prepared chocolate is as healthful a food as it is pleasant; that it is nourishing and easily digested… that it is above all helpful to people who must do a great deal of mental work.” Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin, French, lawyer, political figure, epicure, gastronome

  1. Chocolate gets a bad name because of its companion sugar. For me moderation works wells and chocolate feeds my soul.

    • A few hours without chocolate is like the sun going away. I love it. Dark, semi-sweet. Yum. Moderation…humm let me get back to you on that.

      • LOL! Sometimes moderation ruins the experience and sometimes it keeps us from being sick. It’s a judgement call.

      • I usually end up on the sick end, especially when it comes to chocolate.

      • My daughter and I were talking about the beauty of deep fat fryers. Lickity split we were in the car with the kids on our way to get french fries. They were the very best fries and on top of that my daughter ordered egg rolls. My guts took 3 days to revive but the fries were worth it. We got the deep fat fryer out of our system for sure. Moderation…..can’t always do it.

  2. LOL that’s the truth…we can’t always do it and fries…always worth it.
