I want to curl up with one now!
Me too. Definitely. It’s laying next to my laptop and I keep looking at the book…wanting to pick it up. LOL And yet, I;m so near the end that I’m sad that it’s almost over..
I know, I really feel like I don’t want the story to end if it is good. It’s such a good feeling to be all caught up in it!
It is. I’m close to the end but have more good books lined up…so there’a always another one waiting in the wings.
I am reading a poetry book by my friend Rashhid Osmani, Word Posse. I am going to start The Lovely Bones soon. ooooh, scary.
It’s so true. Books are a comfort. There’s nothing better than getting lost in one and losing all track of time.
I agree completely. Books are a way of life and I admit that all the book I have read made me who I am, since everything I’ve experienced was sifted through the things they taught me.
I finally read “One Writer’s Beginnings” earlier this year and remember this passage very vividly. I could and still can totally identify with it, like so many readers.
I have not read “One Writer’s Beginnings,” but now that you mentioned it, I will definitely check it out. Thank you. I love this passage and she speaks for all of us, those who dream in books, carry them everywhere and live for the next page.
I really enjoyed this book. I hope you will, too.
