Coming home…

Debbie and family are coming home from South Beach, FL today, where it is currently 80 degrees and SUNNY!  They are coming home to 39 degrees, never-ending GRAY skies and RAIN.  Maybe we will move after this.  We are truly prisoners of the weather.

I bought a wee tub of yellow pansies a couple of days ago to remind me of what the sun looks like.

I’ve been thinking about you on this grey day. We all need to move the h*** out of this rotten state. The back yard is totally flooded. Mom is keeping an eye on the sump pump.

  2. Been thinking about you as well. Debbie just got home and she’s already depressed. My patio was like a lake and I’m afraid to look in the basement. The cat didn’t even come out of her house until 6:30 p.m. I started cleaning but only did two rooms because I’m exhausted from the darkness and can barely move, even with all the lights on. It’s just too much. It’s getting worse and we get so few days of nice weather that you’re right, we need to get the hell out of here.
