It’s violent but not gory. Well, the whole pencil thing might be a little much but it fit in with the history of the film. Reeves is so cool. Love his dog, although he doesn’t get to DO ANYTHING. I would love it if the dog had a larger role…maybe next time. They definitely should have left the woman out of this one. It was embarrassing. She looked silly and they just stuck her in there so it wouldn’t be an all male cast…including the dog.
Love the regular characters and The Continental hotel, of course. There’s no possible way Reeves would not have broken bones, a skull fracture, etc., but it doesn’t matter. He gets the job done and looks fabulous while he’s doing it. Lots of fun and lots of action. I can’t imagine how he’s going to get out of the mess he’s in at the end, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. I have a feeling his friends (such as they are) will help him. If not, I’m pretty sure he’ll think of something. Love his tailor, by the way. I’m hoping John Leguizamo has a bigger part next time as well. I really like him. He’s a great actor and I think he would add a lot to the film. Anyway, if you like this kind of thing…don’t miss it.
