And a great HALLOWEEN to you!!! 🙂

    • Thank you so very much:) Hope your day is Bootiful:)

      • Bastet says:

‘Twas! And hope you had oodles of fun!

      • I’m so happy you had a good time:) Unfortunately, hardly any kids were out, since the weather was so bad.

Here the weather was great … but trick or treating is very new to Italy … we only had a few kids, but it was fun. 🙂

      • I didn’t know that it was new to Italy. Happy to hear that you had nice weather and that you enjoyed trick or treating. It’s always been a big night here, until lately. But the weather has always been bad on Halloween. I can only remember a couple of times that it was nice out…usually raining, snowing or freezing cold. The poor kids always end up with winter coats over their costumes.

I know, I used to go trick or treating as a kid (born in 1952 USA stock) and it didn’t seem so bad back then, we put our coat under our costume … but the weather has gotten nastier over the years …

      • Definitely, the weather has gotten worse. People trusted each other in the 50’s, it was a good time. No internet, no one was afraid of anything. People just lived their lives and things were better in a lot of ways. Kids played OUTSIDE, People walked and didn’t have to use a treadmill. Food wasn’t loaded with additives. Kids weren’t committing suicide or being bullied to death on line. People had manners and were polite to each other. Sigh. Some things really were better then. Almost every little girl was a Princess, last night, and I wished they could have fit their ball gowns over their coats but it wouldn’t have worked. I think they were happy thought and loved being dressed up whether others could see their clothes or now:)

you’ve just about rounded it up … I remember the age being better then too … times have changed and not always for the better 😦 but I’m sure the kids loved dressing up … that hasn’t changed!

      • I doubt that will ever change:) Kids love to dress up:)

Sure do! I remember when …
