When I started blogging, I published some photographs from Paris. There were people in the scenes and several bloggers wrote to me saying that I could get into trouble by posting them. They said I could have my blog shut down and that I couldn’t even show the backs of people. A Pondering Mind just said that you CAN publish those kinds of pictures.
I’ve tried to find a site that explains a blogger’s rights to do so but I can’t find one that states it clearly enough to know what’s real because most of the wording is about your right to TAKE the photo. I can’t find anything about actually posting it. I’m just letting you know because a lot of my photographs are all chopped up so that I can remove any people from the shot. I would like to thank A Pondering Mind for his input. I took him at his word and published “Art in the Park,” on my blog. If anyone has anything to add to this subject. Please do. Thank you.

You can take photos of people in public, unless they tell you they do not want their photo taken
