Doodle

Doodle Every now and then I just drop a couple of splashes of watercolor onto a piece of paper, roll it around and then play with the lines.  I draw, or doodle, over whatever is there.  It doesn’t have to make sense, it just has to be fun.  Try it.  Draw whatever you like over the splotches. The only color I added was on their cheeks.  Everything else just follows the original drops and lines.

  1. wow! cool, looks like they are in the flying circus 🙂

  2. Your artwork is wonderful 🙂

    • Try it. Just drop some pale colored water onto a piece of paper. Let it dry and then draw over the spots. It’s kind of like seeing pictures in clouds:) Anyone can do it.

      • It reminds me of a game my grandmother and I used to play. she’d draw random lines or dots on a piece of paper and challenge me to make something out of it. It’s one of those memories that stands out for me : )

  3. Exactly like that. You can doodle with others:) It’s a fun thing to do because you have no idea how it’s going to turn out. You have no preconceived ideas about what you are going to draw:) It’s just fun. Those are sweet memories. Grandmother’s can be so fabulous:) Mine was magical and I miss her still, even after all these years.

These are so cute! Love them. K.

  8. I LOVE this so whimsical and magical 😀

    • Thank you. Try it…there’s no wrong or right way to do it. You just follow the blobs:) If you don’t have paints, use food coloring or anything you have that you can wet enough to make it run on the paper:)

  9. Bling I saw this when you posted it and didn’t get a chance to really look at it. I see so many beautiful things here. A bunny with a Unicorn horn, a yellow socket wrench, I see the nose of a horse-agator, Zebra stripped mane, I see the Wizard of Oz witches stocking and one foot, what looks like a blue 2 eyes lovely flowers with what looks like a tongue extension like a frog all that missing is the fly! Oh wait now I see what look like one of those thingys that undoes lug nuts on a car. Bling did you know you drew all of this? Oh and a toga mask with a dress. Oh my imagination is going wild now! You can call me Alice! 😀 Gee that was fun Bling!

    • Well Alice:) I’m so glad you liked it. Try it, please. You just dribble some water on a paper and then make things out of the dribbles. It’s easy and no right way to do it, so it’s fun. You would have fun:) Tell BB as well:)
