ChicagoSpent the day in the city and this is what it looked like this morning.  She’s so incredible and magnificent.  I wasn’t downtown.  I was in Old Town and just around the city, playing and having a good time with my cousin.  We were going to Garfield Park Conservatory but never made it.  We stopped at a French Garden shop and stayed for two hours.  Then we ate lunch and shopped and had delicious cookies at Anthropologies.  Anyway, I didn’t get a lot of pictures but I do have some.  The sun did come out and it was beautiful all day long.

  1. Yay Bling! I love the mist or fog! It gives a really great look plus it blocks out the sun and that way it’s not too hot! I’m glad you had a great day! 😀

  4. 🙂 Sounds like a fabulous day 🙂

    • It was. Love being in the city, especially in the spring and summer. But I know what it’s really like to live there. I live in Cook County (Chicago), so I just hop on the expressway and I’m there. I wasn’t downtown, just in the city. Going downtown next week so I can pet all the skyscrapers and give them some sweet talk:) LOL Love my skyscrapers.

At least it wasn’t snowing. 😉

    • True enough:) I love the flowers and the sunlight through the trees and the people, the buildings and the frenetic energy. It’s a drug for me, one that I refuse to quit and no amount of intervention will make me stop. Ever. If I die and hang around, that’s where I’ll be. But since I have big plans for after I’m dead, don’t go looking for me:)

Sounds like Chicago is your town Gigi. 🙂 Big plans for afterwards eh? That should be interesting.

  6. Chicago is definitely mine. And yes, big plans for the other side. Whether it will be interesting or not, kind of remains to be seen:) Only time will tell:)
