Art and the philosophy of life

Everyone is...We are all one of a kind.  Each Unique in her/his own way.  That’s something to celebrate!

  1. Its getting harder and harder to remember this! Conformity is pushed so fiercely these days, it’s important to put something so seemingly simple out there to remind us : )

  2. I love the humbness of this statement,

  3. Sorry I wasn’t done…

  4. Unique usually tells us we’re some how different maybe a little superior? This divides & limits healthy communication; however, your statement says we’re all unique and we’re all beautiful in different ways but same people. I love this!

    • It’s true. We could all learn so much from each other and have such a good time, if people would just realize that no one is better than anyone else, we’ve all just had different experiences. But as long as we teach elitism and hatred of others, it just can’t happen, except on a one to one basis. That’s too bad because we are missing out on so much when we don’t have to miss out on anything. Instead of killing each other we should be talking about our differences and trying to figure out what we do actually have in common. At least that makes sense to me. But too many aren’t willing to listen…they think they alone know what everyone else should do and how they should live. That will never work and only leads to more division between people.

      • I totally agree, I loved college for this reason. It didn’t matter where you were from. We formed study groups and loved learning from one another. It seemed there were no barriers, just unity and a hope to become better. Better people, more tolerate, with a zest to communicate with all people of our world. I wished we could all feel the love that we all felt in college.
This is the main reason I love your blog. You bring love truth and innocence to the minds and spirits of the people that visit your blog.
Thank you for all your contributions in restoring hope. You’re an instrument of peace and joy.

      • I hardly know what to say. Thank you doesn’t seem like enough for your kind and generous words but, thank you. And it is a wonderful thing when people truly work together and forget, or use, their differences to make things better. It sounds as if you had a wonderful time in college, it is too bad those kinds of things do not easily transfer to life outside of school. Many things in our culture tend to pit people against each other. I truly believe this is done on purpose, to keep us from cooperating with each other and, thereby, having a massive amount of power as a people. Thank you again.

      • My pleasure. Yes division schemes have been used repeatedly throughout history. Countries us fear tactics for control. American is first!
“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to Repeat it. ”
        (George Santayana)

      • We remember, we just don care. Greed is stronger than anything…Greed for goods and power. That’s what wars are all about…power over others…we want what someone else has and we are willing to let our own people die on battlefields for whatever that is, while the ugly power hungry idiots who start the wars, sit back safe and sound and take what they want, as they walk over the dead bodies.
