Rubber ducks

Rubber ducksI went outside, to trim the flowers, and there they were…rubber ducks.  I don’t know how they got outside.  Several of them were enjoying the morning, sitting in flower pots and bird seed.  They stayed out there for a few hours.  Eventually, they came back inside and headed for the bathtub.

I found some rubber ducks for DH’s room! A large Mommy Duck and three babies. I put them on the ledge by his window and he loves them! I wouldn’t have thought of them except for your duckies. I’m going to take him a quilt to brighten up his bed – the staff will freak out if it needs to be washed but I’ll take it home and do it ……… there’s always a way.

    • That sounds wonderful. There’s always a way…absolutely. I’m so happy he likes the rubber ducks…LOL Adds a bit of fun and color to his space and that’s so important. I’m sure he will love the quilt. Everything will make him feel more at home. And if he feels better, so will you.
