Art and the philosophy of life

Life goes on...

and fills in…

Life doesn’t care about us as individuals, it just is.  We simply plug into what life offers while we are here.  If you put your hand into a river and take it out…the river simply closes around the place your hand once was.  I think life is like that.  When we move to the next place…the space we took up when we were here, just closes up once we’re gone.  Our space is filled…like air filing every part of a room equally.  Everything here spreads out and fills in.  Life…it’s like that:)   Steady-state.  Kind of cool when you think about it.  Don’t you think?

Bastet kindly contributed this lovely poem to this post.  I’m grateful.

the Universe keeps moving on
with or without humanity
the rivers flow, the rain falls down
and thinks nothing of our fate
and if by chance we ruin Earth
the planet will go on
we are just a moment
in eternity…though
we think we’re so much more.

Some of us leave bigger spaces to fill than others. 😉

    I agree.

  4. Yes,I think so. This is way deeper than a superficial reading reveals. Powerful. Thank you, my friend. Peace . . .
